CPL’s Supported Living Service provides tailored support for adults with autism & learning disability in community settings. We collaborate with registered social landlords to offer a range of housing options, from single flats to shared accommodations, catering to autistic adults of all ages. Our Admissions team conducts thorough, person-centred assessments to understand each individual’s needs, preferences, and support requirements, ensuring a suitable placement. Detailed transition plans are developed to ensure that anyone entering the service feels at ease and fully understands the process. These plans provide clarity on what to expect, helping to foster a sense of comfort and security during the transition.
With fifteen locations across Manchester and Greater Manchester, our services are designed to feel like home. Most of our accommodations consist of houses and flats located in typical residential neighbourhoods. We offer a variety of options, including single-occupancy services, shared houses, and flat schemes that can accommodate up to five individuals in shared accommodation and also with some single-occupancy houses & flats up to seven. We encourage tenants to participate in choosing furniture and decor, personalizing their living spaces. We also maintain strong partnerships with specialized housing associations to help individuals manage their tenancies. This includes providing easy-read tenancy agreements and visual social stories to clarify rules. The service provides a range of support options, from shared assistance to individualized care, including one-to-one up to four-to-one support available 24/7. Clients can trust in the expertise and reliability of our highly trained staff available 24/7, backed by a highly-trained staff team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
